According to a release, 13 staff members were informed Friday that their jobs wouldbe eliminated, effective July 2. Authority spokesmahn Peter Hancock said in an interview Monday that the polic director position also will be eliminated as executive staffr positions are reduced from fiveto four. Barb Langned will move out of that positiob to serve as actintgMedicaid director, according to the release. Hancocik said that the authority’s operational budget has been cutby $3.5 millionn for the fiscal year that beginsz July 1.
